1. Every player is required to feature in domestic matches in order to be eligible for selection in the national team as well as for central contracts, by virtue of BCCI regulations. Family Travel Policy The family travel policy aims to protect the personal interests of athletes while defining the requirements of the team as well: Eligibility – Spouses and children (below 18 years of age) may accompany players who travel outside India for more than 45 days owing to international tours.

Exceptions: In terms of this guideline, any deviation from the norm shall also require prior permission from the Coach, Captain and GM Operations. The BCCI shall not reimburse any further costs that are incurred outside the visitor’s period.

9. Taking part in BCCI Official shoots and Functions: Players are expected to turn up for the BCCI official filming and their activities, promotions and events. Such engagements are essential in ensuring that the commitments of BCCI towards its stakeholders are honored and the sport is well promoted.

10. Players return home if matches end early. Players are to remain with the squad until the end of a specified number of match series or tour, even if the matches finish up ahead of the originally scheduled time.
